About Me

Hello, my name is Ramos P. Simpson. Do you know Amos, an Old Testament book from the Bible? My name is pronounced "Amos" with an R in front. (Hahaha - serious though.)

I was born in San Antonio, Texas Lackland Air Force Base. I am blessed to have grown up in a faith-oriented military household as the youngest of three and an U. S. Army Chaplain's son. I have a host of family members serving on staff within the Kingdom of God.

I have traveled the world with my military parents, meeting people from all walks of life. With the best of intentions and among the most conscientious leaders, I aim to make a positive change in the world. In today's diverse culture, my passion is to point others to Christ.

My heart is filled with compassion, genuine love for others, and a clear understanding of what is important in the world around us. My entire existence has been in ministry. I am well familiar with all aspects of the church's auxiliaries. I received valuable insights into the ways we can serve, help, improve, elevate, and uplift our communities.

2010-2014

My education in Pastoral Ministry at Lee University has prepared me to effectively serve as a senior, associate, or assistant pastor. I have cultivated a strong foundation in ministry principles rooted in biblical teachings, and I have developed valuable skills in preaching, worship, theology, leadership, counseling, and ministry. These experiences will enable me to make a positive impact in my future pastoral roles.

2013

I am truly honored to be ordained as a minister of the Gospel. The church has formally recognized my commitment to preaching and serving the Christian faith. With the blessings of heaven and the authority of the church, I am equipped to fulfill my spiritual responsibilities. These responsibilities include leading worship services, officiating weddings and funerals, and providing pastoral care to our community. This acknowledgment allows me to support and encourage others on their spiritual journeys.
